@Jared, the dotted black lines under the dots were the initial curves fed into grasshopper. I then divided them by distance, randomly displaced the points a small distance away from their initial position, and attached a dot to each point. The initial lines are movement patterns based on existing park paths and memory of common deviations from those paths.
A 5th year Architecture student at Carnegie Mellon University, my thinking has been greatly influenced by time spent abroad ( at the AA and elsewhere) and long car rides on rte. 539.
This is a really neat and potentially useful diagram. What type of input did you put in for grasshopper?
